Lily Li has been teaching my daughter piano for the last 5 years. When she began with Lily, it was during Covid so her lessons were remote but she made it work. We did alot of Zoom calls & improvisation while still maintaining the core fundamentals of playing. Once Covid ended & my daughter was able to attend in person lessons, her skill level excelled. Not only is Lily an incredible pianist herself but she brings her wealth of knowledge to each practice by always upping the bar & focusing on each piece assigned. She has not only challenged my daughter but provided her with opportunities to perform & compete against other pianists. I can say wholeheartedly that my daughter would not be where she is today if it weren’t for Lily’s expertise & strong minded attitude for playing. Our son has been taking piano lessons with Lily Li since he was 6 years old and he is 10 now. He started during the pandemic and attended virtual lessons. Lily did an amazing job of being able to engage a 6 year old on a tablet screen. He has since been attending lessons at her home. Our son has learned so much from her and we are amazed at his ability to play the piano! He truly enjoys his lessons and we never have to push him to attend the lessons because he gets excited about going. I asked our son what he thinks of Lily Li and he says “she’s really nice and she makes it fun.” Since learning about how to read music and play the piano, our son also now plays the guitar and trombone. His teachers for the other instruments always comment on how quickly he has picked up on these instruments and we always tell them that it is because of the work he has done with Lily. We 110% recommend her and we are so happy we found her in the beginning!
